The Magicos por Excelencias Awards will recognize in the categories of: nature, sustainability, gastronomy, religion, enology, paleontology, cultural and heritage projects of the Magical Towns, as well as the City of Excellence Award to a Mexican Heritage City.
After counting the votes of the popular jury, which took place on Caribbean News Digital, where more than 140,000 votes were received, and counting the individual decision, issued by the Jury formed by 10 professionals in the tourism industry, the candidates nominated as finalists are:

The award ceremony, where the winners will be revealed, will take place in Mexico City on March 29, 2023 during the Tianguis Turístico, in the Valparaíso Hall at 12pm.

About Excelencias Awards
The EXCELENCIAS AWARDS were created in 2005 by the "Excelencias Group" with the goal of fostering excellence in different fields, all of them related to tourism and culture. Since then, they have become a benchmark for all those who are involved in this important sector and develop their activity always with the goal of achieving excellence.
Within the framework of the Tianguis turístico during 2019 and 2021, some of the awards received by Mexican institutions in the International Excellence Awards that had been presented that same year in Madrid, Spain, were once again handed out.
In 2023, the Excelencias Group aims to continue supporting international outreach and strengthening communication by recognizing projects in several categories, focusing on this occasion on Mexico's Magical Towns. That's why it's creating the Magical Towns by Excelencias Awards, which will recognize projects in the categories of nature, sustainability, gastronomy, religion, enology, paleontology, culture and heritage in the 132 Magical Towns.
In addition, the City of Excellence Award will be presented, where Mexico's "World Heritage Cities" have been selected to present their projects to the jury, who will decide which of these projects combines the aforementioned categories.
The people's choice vote was open until March 14 and nominations were received until March 16, 2023.
