Pinta Live and its online programmes remain open and available for the whole of next week.
Pinta Concept, as the fair is titled this year, was conceived with a dual purpose: to transcend the in-person fair experience and at the same time to strengthen the focus on the artists’ expression. Therefore, Pinta 2021 is characterized by its blend format and by the specially potent visibility it provides to the artists themselves.
In line with Pinta’s commitment as an international platform to energize and disseminate Spanish and Latin American art, and with a stronger-than-ever bond to its Latin American roots, this year’s edition brings forth Pinta Live, an online artistic program which exhibits all the in-person galleries plus a careful selection of galleries like Janaina Torres Galeria (São Paulo, Brazil), 80m2 Livia Benavidez (Lima, Peru), IMAGINART GALLERY (Barcelona, Spain) and Imaginario (Buenos Aires, Argentina).
Also part of Pinta’s online affair, and transcending borders of all kinds, Pinta hosts Media Point, a digital section with unique audiovisual content: talks with experts (LiveTalks), insights on the artists’ work (OpenFile) and custom Live Virtual Tours.
A favorite within Media Point is definitely Open File, where the public gets an insight into the artists’ work, concerns, techniques, even personalities. Pinta 2021 has produced OpenFiles for artists Lisu Vega, Juan Raul Hoyos, Paula Otegui and Alejandro Tobón; all exhibiting at the fair.
