Art Madrid 2020: the most dynamic edition

The new edition of the contemporary art fair that celebrates its 15th anniversary promises to be the most dynamic in its history and be full of “novelties, action and movement”. The appointment will be from February 26 to March 1, 2020, in the Crystal Gallery of the Cibeles Palace in the Spanish capital.

According to its organizers, Art Madrid 2020 "will become a dynamic event where the public will enjoy an immersive experience in contemporary art, thanks to our programming of actions outside and inside the fair."

In that sense, between February 12 and March 1, ART MADRID-PROJECTOR’20 will bring performative actions, master classes, meetings with artists and projections; a program curated again by Mario Gutiérrez Cru, director of the pioneering video art festival PROJECTOR, in collaboration with the Medialab Prado and Sala Alcalá 31 spaces.

ONE PROJECT will also return, directed by the art critic and independent curator Fernando Gómez de la Cuesta. Under the enigmatic title of Wild Art Madrid promises to be “a place of dialogue (but also of conflict) where nine artists will share a face-to-face space presenting unpublished projects specific to the fair”.
