Art Madrid'23 will gather a selection of 35 national and international galleries

The ART MADRID Selection Committee has once again been in charge of evaluating the applications of galleries interested in participating in the eighteenth edition of the fair. The Committee is composed by Alfonso de la Torre (critic and curator), Aurora Vigil-Escalera (gallery owner), Natalia Alonso (critic and curator), Angel Samblancat (international fairs advisor), Javier López (gallery owner) and Ana Suárez (art adviser).

The selection is made to guarantee a high level of artistic quality in the ART MADRID'23 
programming. For this reason, the applications are evaluated taking into account both the
proposal presented by the gallery and the career of its artists.

The international galleries that will participate in ART MADRID'23 are: Galerie LJ (Paris), 
Galleria Stefano Forni (Bologna), Michael Schmalfuss (Berlin), Yiri Arts (Taiwan), Sâo
Mamede (Lisbon), Trema arte contemporânea (Lisbon), ArtLounge (Lisbon), Nuno
Sacramento (Ílhavo, Portugal) and Collage Habana (Havana).

As for national participation, you can visit the galleries based in Madrid BAT Alberto
Cornejo (Madrid), Flecha (Madrid), Arma Gallery (Madrid), DDR (Madrid), Marita Segovia
(Madrid), Galería Hispánica (Madrid/ CDMX); the Catalan galleries 3 Punts (Barcelona),
Inéditad (Barcelona), N2 Galería (Barcelona), Out of Africa Gallery (Sitges/London) and
Uxval Gochez (Barcelona); the Asturians Aurora Vigil-Escalera (Gijón), Arancha Osoro
(Oviedo), Bea Villamarín (Gijón); the Valencians Alba Cabrera (Valencia), Shiras Galería
(Valencia), Dr. Robot (Valencia); the Galician Luisa Pita (Santiago de Compostela), Metro
Gallery (Santiago de Compostela), MoretArt (A Coruña). And also Rodrigo Juarranz
(Aranda del Duero, Burgos), Espiral (Noja, Cantabria), Kur Art Gallery (San Sebastián,
Basque Country), La Aurora (Murcia), MA Contemporary Art (Mallorca) and Manuel Ojeda
(Canary Islands),

ABOUT ART MADRID'23

ART MADRID'23 will celebrate its eighteenth edition from February 22 to 26, 2023, during
Art Week, at the Galería de Cristal in the Palacio de Cibeles.

Year after year, the fair retains a more significant number of the public (more than 20,000
visitors in each of its last five editions) and new buyers. A fundamental mission for ART
MADRID'23 is to continue generating a market and promoting national and international
collecting in the Madrid context of Art Week. The fair characterizes by being a close and
open proposal to all audiences who want to know the reality of the world of contemporary
art.
