In this edition the event will be characterized by having a Fashion Street. The streets will take over the eyes of an audience that will be able to appreciate up close, the style of the collection País en Construcción; where designers such as Gabriela Lara, Celia Ledón and the Clandestina brand address the issue of popular dress. They aim to highlight the physical dimension of the construction of a nation.

Clandestina takes advantage of to move away from the Haute Couture, and it is shown as a brand that dialogues with the urban and the popular, showing contents that travel in bus and almendrón like the Cubans themselves. This premiere will feature the special performance of the singer and composer Cimafunk and the djs, Las Pausas.

During the anteroom will be exhibited the photographic exhibition of Eduardo Rawdríguez, Art and Fashion, in tribute to the 15 years. Due to the special occasion of the celebration, the designers have been portrayed together with their costumes in unique settings within the Cuban Art Factory. The chosen pieces have represented a milestone in the work of these creators, and manifest the idea or concept that the program defends as a spectacular provocation.

On the 16th and 17th there will be two presentations where the collections of the English designer Natalie Wildgoose with Children in the garden and the Cuban Jacqueline Fumero will be showcased, with the Jackie series "Her Elegance" in homage to a fashion icon of the 60s, Jacqueline Kennedy, and the portrait of an era where youth triumphed and their ideals to impose naturalness and ease forever elegance.

Under the auspices of several cultural institutions, among which stand out the National Council of Plastic Arts, the Actuar agency and the Cuban Association of Artisans and Artists, known by its acronym ACAA, since 2003 fashion has a fixed space, won by the quality of the clothing design of the Cuban creators.

As explained to Arte por Excelencias Rafael Méndez, director of Art and Fashion, during these years the event has been an ideal platform to show the possibilities that Cuban designers have from natural or recycled materials; You can also see the use of textiles in a new way "it's like a laboratory because Art and Fashion is not fashion to wear, it's fashion to the future, it's fashion to experiment".
