The Art Basel Shop opens June 16–22 at Messe Basel with exclusive artist-designed products and limited editions

Art Basel announces the opening of The Art Basel Shop, a space conceived as a meeting point between art and everyday life. More than a commercial outlet, the shop offers a curated selection of objects designed by contemporary artists, brand collaborations, original works, collectible items, and Art Basel-exclusive merchandise.

The Art Basel Shop will be located in Hall 1 of Messe Basel, with a smaller pop-up shop in Hall 2, and will be open from June 16 to 22, 2025.

Among the highlights is the collaboration between artist Kasing Lung and Art Basel: a limited-edition Labubu figure created exclusively for the fair. The piece features the character’s signature mischievous grin, Art Basel’s iconic blue color, and a built-in working level for drawing straight lines. Only 100 pieces will be available onsite.

The shop will also feature a poster release by Sasha Stiles, an artist recognized for her work at the intersection of language and technology. Titled WORDS BEYOND WORDS, the piece presents an infinite poem that rewrites language in unique iterations and is offered as a museum-quality print and a tradable NFT.

Another item is the 2025 re-edition of Thomas Bayrle’s raincoat, originally produced in 1968. The work once again highlights the inseparable link between art and commerce, celebrated by Pop Art.

As Guest Artist of The Art Basel Shop in 2025, Katharina Grosse presents an exclusive capsule collection, including hand-painted limited-edition soccer balls, a transparent bag, and a roll of tape with machine-applied designs based on her signature gestures. This collection is exclusive to Art Basel and available onsite in limited quantities.

Art Basel and FC Basel join forces for a special collector’s release that celebrates their shared home city: Basel. The collector’s jersey features FCB’s iconic red and blue colors, a graphic inspired by a 1970 Art Basel design, and the club’s crest from the 1970s. Only 50 jerseys and 25 scarves will be available exclusively at the fair.
