Chinese Culture Highlighted at Havana International Book Fair

Numerous Cuban institutions will contribute to highlight the Chinese culture in this cpaital during the 27th International Book Fair, from February 1-11, the organizers confirmed today.

The most important event in the Cuban publishing sector becomes a more inclusive cuntiral space in the country and will have China as an honorary guest this year.



The company Shandong song and Dance Theatre will come from China with almost 20 artists, who will perform two shows at the Gran Teatro de La Habana Alicia Alonso on February 2-3.



Under the title 2018 Happy Celebration of the Chinese Spring, the artistic group will present scenes of music, dance and acrobatics, among other proposals, all related to the country's traditional culture.



According to the director of the Cuban Book and Reading Observatory, Enrique Perez, during the 27th edition of the fair, they will hold exhibitions, concerts, dance shows, martial arts and a Chinese cinema exhibition at the different halls of the Infanta Multi-Hall Movie Theater, in this capital.
