With a luxury poster, composed of valuable exponents of the most indigenous sonorities of Cuba and in turn, by outstanding masters in the fusion of these with foreign rhythms, will open this Thursday the second edition of the Jos Varadero Josone Rumba, Jazz and Son Festival.
The renowned instrumentalist and music producer Emilio Vega and his group Paso al Frente, will mark at nine o'clock in the evening the start of the event, chaired by Issac Delgado (El Chévere de la Salsa) and the Company of Recordings and Musical Editions (EGREM).
The first day of the stellar summer festival, which will take place in the emblematic Josone Park of the main tourist destination of the archélago, will continue with the performance of the groups Yoruba Andabo, Alaín Pérez and La Orquesta, Haila María Mompié, Formell and Los Van Van and Los 4.
On the three platforms that will be arranged in the area, equipped with state-of-the-art technology in terms of sound and design lights, with the support of the pMM company, will be developed the about 26 concerts that will take place in these four nights of music on the most famous beach Cuba.
Friday marks the participation of Kono and Los Chicos de Cuba, Ivette Cepeda, Lazarito Valdés y Bamboleo, Issac Delgado and his Orchestra, Paulo FG and his Elite, and the African artist Weedie Braimah and his group The hands of Time (Ghana).
Also, the all-inclusive saxophone quartet, Quintero's Latin Jazz Project (Venezuela), Eme Alfonso, Buena Fe, Descemer Bueno, Puppy y los que Son Son and Alexander Abreu and Havana D'Primera, will take to the stage on Saturday night.
The event will close on Sunday, August 25 with the performance of Gastón Joya and The New Cuban Trio, Francisco "Pancho" Céspedes, El Niño y la Verdad, Adalberto Alvarez y su Son, Diván and with the special performance of Peruvian Eva Ayllón, in the company of Jorge Reyes and Los Muñequitos de Matanzas.
As a preamble, tonight will be developed with free entry of public, a pre-festival on the beach of Varadero that will host the performance of the young Harold Merino Bonet, the outstanding group Frasis y Telmarys, and their group Habana Sana.
