In a world wounded by war, inequality, and noise, there are moments when beauty becomes a refuge and art an antidote. MODAVISIÓN® 2025, held in Madrid, was not just a fashion show—it was a poetic celebration of human dignity, a choreography of fabrics, symbols, and messages raised in the name of peace, inclusion, and hope.
With top-tier international participation, designers from countries such as Spain (El Carlo Marbella), Ukraine (Ekaterina Chepak), Hungary (Bence Kozak), Argentina (Clementina Pereyra), the Netherlands (Addy Van den Krommenacker), Ireland (CloakRose), the Philippines (Myet), Bolivia (Pascual Arancibia), Uruguay (Aiyana Moda & Diseño), and Senegal (Djidia Wax) presented not just collections, but stories. These were designs that spoke, that healed. All were chosen by public vote and presented their proposals before an internationally renowned jury.
The grand winner was Ukrainian designer Ekaterina Chepak, who transformed the pain of her homeland into visual poetry. Her collection, Sacred Flowers, was both moving and courageous, earning standing ovations from the jury and audience alike, who voted in real time from across the globe. She was crowned Best Designer in the World 2025.
The second prize went to Spanish designer Ana María Vega of the brand El Carlo Marbella, while third place was awarded to Elizabeth Pereyra, an acclaimed designer from Argentina.
One of the most symbolic moments of the gala was the runway appearance of Sofía Cherkashina and Kateryna Korlynska, two hearing-impaired girls from Kharkiv, Ukraine. Their presence was not merely anecdotal; it was an act of visibility, empowerment, and tenderness. Thanks to the support of the public, Radio Punto del Plata FM, Club Mujer Magazine, and patrons Antonio Camaró and Pedro Adalid, their participation became a powerful reminder that fashion can be a language for those who have been silenced. At MODAVISIÓN®, every step on the runway is also a step toward social justice.
A truly historic and unprecedented moment occurred this year when, for the first time, the iconic roses created by renowned Argentine goldsmith Juan Carlos Pallarols—forged from bullet casings—were showcased outside Argentina. They accompanied the collection of designer Danu Otero (Lasoterito). These symbolic roses, gifted to figures such as Princess Diana, the Spanish Royal Family, Dutch and Vatican leaders, had never before been seen on an international runway. Alongside a lithograph specially created for the occasion by artist Antonio Camaró, the moment became a unique communion of art, fashion, and universal message. It was an event that reaffirmed MODAVISIÓN® as a stage where new pages are written in the history of culture and peace.
Pedro Adalid, academic and expert in the philosophy of art, embodied the conviction that beauty, to be truly meaningful, must serve human dignity. Antonio Camaró, the painter of peace, created an exclusive piece as a prize for the winning designer—not just an award, but a manifesto. Because beauty can save the world, when it’s created with soul.
The production was carried out by a professional international team: public relations by Rafael Villora, graphic design and marketing by Estrella Sañudo, backstage support from Ekiñe Fernández, audiovisual direction by Pablo Cebolla Díaz, technology by Carlos Silva, and co-production by Leonardo Ortiz Ruiz. The live broadcast was handled by MIRAMIVIDEO and streamed on platforms like YouTube, the official website www.modavision.tv, Instagram (@worldvisionfashionshow), and Es Tu Tele channel, with over 20,000 interactions.
Makeup was provided by the professional team of Victoria FashionLand, and hairstyling was handled by Leame and Longoria.
The jury for this edition featured distinguished international figures: Elvia Llauder, Antonio Camaró, Yulia Zhiveynova, Pedro Adalid, Mark Grogan, Anita Zsanett Tóth, Adrie van de Nieuwenhof, Miguel Ángel Dopazo, Ana Lancho, Patry del Alva, Maurici Segú, and Pedro Caballero. Their global experience and artistic insight brought depth and excellence to the evaluation process.
Live musical performances by Redmoon, Mc Nasim Record’s, Laura Sky, and CARAT added emotion, rhythm, and voice to MODAVISIÓN®’s message of peace.
The winning designer was chosen through live global voting, reinforcing the participatory nature of the platform. The prize included an exclusive lithograph by Antonio Camaró, symbolizing the fusion of art and fashion.
Additional gifts were provided by sponsors such as Double People, Clandestino, Di Abani, Gioiello Liquido Spain, Paris Leaf Magyarország, and Super Patch.
MODAVISIÓN® was founded by Olga IF, a globally recognized entrepreneur, holder of two Guinness World Records™, awarded Best European Designer in 2020 and 2023, and named one of the Top 50 Spanish Designers in History. Her work has transcended fashion, earning her invitations to speak at international events like the United Nations High-Level Political Forum. Her name is displayed at the Museum of Peace Heroes in Vienna.
MODAVISIÓN® continues to grow with increasing global reach. In just two weeks, it surpassed 500,000 interactions on social media and digital platforms, steadily advancing toward the goal of one million interactions worldwide. This growth reflects the rising international interest and support for a project that unites fashion, art, and human values. MODAVISIÓN® is also expanding worldwide, with delegations now established in Latin America (represented by Patry del Alva), Hungary (Anita Zsanett Tóth), Ireland, Luxembourg, Ukraine, and Italy, further solidifying its position as a global platform for cultural and social impact.
As was said that night:
“There is no design more beautiful than one that helps us dream and heal.”
