The Cultural Center of the Arts Benny More was born on July 24, 2015 with a primary mission: the promotion of the legacy of that national and international symbol of Cuban culture.
With a privileged location opposite to the Marti Park, heart of the historic center of the city of Cienfuegos, also declared a World Heritage Site, the new institution is also preparing to occupy a central position in processes of great importance not only for artistic and resonance culture, but also for its tourist, commercial and advertising implications.
Benny More Festival becomes a major annual event, with headquarters in the cities of Cienfuegos and Santa Isabel de las Lajas, and regains its status as an international event.
As young as the Cultural Center the Network of Friends of Benny recently began its structure. It functions as an interactive social network of in current digital applications and without leaving aside the traditional direct human relations.
The Cultural Center of the Arts Benny More was born amid a promising national situation that stimulates it not be limited to state subsidies, but to combine traditional methods of cultural promotion with commercial management. This ensures the collection of own revenue which can then be reversed in the sustainability of the program of the Center, including Benny More Festival itself.
