Vitoria-Gasteiz: Montehermoso Kulturunea Cultural Center calls artists, curators and researchers from all over the world, no matter the age; to shed light on projects before March 13, 2011.
Eight projects will be handpicked among the artists’ participating with artworks –in preproduction or production process–; one as commissioning and three for research (it will be specially valued any proposal aimed at contributing to the development of a feminist Art Historiography in the Spanish State and the evolution of a project related to the educational practice and contemporary art). In all cases, the projects will make up the annual program of the institution, during the second four-month period of 2012.
Unpublished projects can be individually put in the map. Maximum amount of money for projects is 11,000 euro (artwork); 24,000 euro (commissioning) and 9,000 euro, for research.
The works will be coordinated and supervised by Montehermoso Kulturunea Cultural Center’s technical team, which is in charge of evaluating the evolution of projects. Artists interested in participating must send their applications, by postal mail, to the following address:
