Madrid: Excelencias Cultural Space, collaborating with artist and cultural agent Ivan Ferrer, present on May 28 (11:00 am – 02:00 pm) “Artistic residencies, scholarships and subventions; where to look for, how to apply and how to create an effective dossier” workshop.
The workshop is dedicated to creators (musicians, dancers, choreographers, actors, writers, photographers, architects, movie makers, performers, visual artists, etc.) who are interested in applying for artistic residencies, international scholarships and subventions, in order to create and produce projects.
Designed in terms of formative self-management, the course will provide necessary tools and knowledge to create dossiers, statements and curriculums, as well as different resources on the Internet as Web to upload video, audio and images, free tools to create and put up artistic websites, profiles and dossiers.
The program includes: Directories of artistic residencies and scholarships; analysis of different conditions provided by these; the making of an efficient and suitable project; creation of an attractive profile; statement; cover letter; selection and format of work samples which should highlight the candidate’s potential, and the keys to improve possibilities.
