An event to exchange new experiences that combine art and technology is going to be held in Bilbao, April 25 - 26. Technarte reaches its eighth edition –its first edition took place back in 2006– with an open call for creators and investigators that have explored different disciplines: virtual reality, robotics, mobile art, immersive realities and new digital techniques to design and create urban spaces, among many other.
People interested must send their article to technarte@technarte.orgbefore October 14, as well as a form that shall be downloaded from www.technarte.org. If the presentation is handpicked to be included in the Program, the author is invited to attend the conference. Furthermore, the organization will pay for 3 nights at the hotel and travel expenses.
Technarte will put together artists, experts from Technological Research Centers and professionals from the world of art and every discipline of technology (researchers and developers from art centers and technological labs, universities, specialists from museums, etc.).
