The results of Ideas Contest, called by ARCOmadrid and AD España, were recently announced. Q:NO Arquitectos will be the studio in charge of conceiving the VIP hall for 2013 edition, while CPA Architects+ (BECA M.I.T.) received a special mention for the project the presented.
Ideas Contest received eighty proposals, which were evaluated by Moises Perez de Albeniz and Guillermo Parra, gallery owners; Amaya Arzuaga, designer; Teresa Sapey, architect; Fernando Rius, collector; Ramiro Jofre, specialist on ephemeral architecture; Monste Cuesta, director of AD, and Carlos Urroz, director of ARCOmadrid. The jury took into account, when it came to giving awards, the innovation and originality of proposals. Q:NO Arquitectos is a studio located in Segovia, and architects Javier de Andres, Fernando Garvi and Miguel Rivilla are members of it.
