#SoloProjects section, conceived as a research space of artworks created by artists from Latin America, with the collaboration of four curators, has set October 11 as the deadline to send proposals.
The curator team, made up of Magali Arriola, curator from Fundacion / Coleccion Jumex, Mexico; Marcio Harum, visual arts curator for São Paulo Cultural Center (CCSP), Brazil; Sharon Lerner, contemporary art curator at Lima’s Museum of Art – MALI, Peru, and Tobias Ostrander, chief curator at Miami Art Museum, Miami; will be identifying the most representative and interesting proposals of the continent, which are going to have their space in ARCOmadrid 2014, February 19 - 23.
#Solo Projects stands as an exchange space between Latin America and Europe, and the 3rd Meeting of European and Latin American Museums will be taken place within that framework, headed by Jesus Carrillo from Museo Reina Sofía, as well as different Professional Meetings organized by Irene Hoffman and Lucia Sanroman or Adriano Pedrosa, having Latin American professionals as the main element.
