A new gallery dedicated to promote young artists has been opened

As a new space to accommodate the young Cuban art the new gallery Artis 718 was opened, located on 7th Avenue and 18th in Miramar, Havana; as part of Post contest, which promotes and sells works of new artists from the island.

 


Designed to accommodate the work of artists under 35, this room offers a snatch that includes 14 projects participating in the contest and the chance to purchase the works.
Miriam Perez, commercial specialist of Artis 718, said that among the statements contained in the ehibition are sculpture, painting, printmaking, photography, installation and video art.

 


Conceived as a way to make visible the efforts of the new plastic figures on the Island, Post it emerges as one of the quotes of confluence of young Cuban art, which will grow as it takes hold in the cultural contemporary landscape.

 


This event, designed to refresh the catalog of galleries and promoting the novel creators will also be part of Habanarte festival program,- which from September 11th  to September 21st, will meet  in a single appointment the best and most varied of national culture- though their stay in the exhibition halls will run until October.
