Bolivian Andres Dedoya attends Art Dubai, which is taking place in this region from March 18, as one of the artists of the Marker program.
This year, the Marker is completely dedicated to the Latin American art. With the curatorship of Portuguese Luisa Teixeira da Freitas, Bedoya is part of the exhibition titled Construyendo puentes sobre un terreno firme, which is composed of 22 artists and it is focused on “the simple but sharp relationship between both regions (Latin America and Middle East), according a text.
Bedoya, who is from La Paz capital in Bolivia, is in the 9th edition of Art Dubai with the video Río adentro and with photos documenting the making process of his installation called Ultra Madre, in 2009.
Art Dubai Fair changes its venue each year. Previously, it has taken place in other countries of Africa and Asia. Over 90 galleries of all the world are present in this edition that besides the Marker it has contemporary and art programs.
