Bis Music record company to launch album Ortodecimarte, 40 reglas ortográficas cantadas

Bis Music recording company, attached to Artex S.A., will launch today at 2:00 p.m., at Pabellón Cuba’s Salón de Mayo, the CD Ortodecimarte, 40 reglas ortográficas cantadas, 2015 Cubadisco award in the Didactic Audiovisual category.

The album is the result of a collaboration work between the recording company and Guijarro group, belonging to the National Council of Culture Arts Centers. Among its main producers it has specialist Patricia Tápanes, coordinator of the group, and musicologist Sonia Pérez Cassola, a Guijarro's member.

We are dealing with a project aimed at disseminating and preserving Cuban traditions—in particular peasants—and helping to improve the knowledge and spelling rules in our students and population in general, somehow forgotten these days. It is also a useful tool for all our professors.

The idea comes from a book on spelling rules expressed through tenth verses, written by poet and tenth verse improviser from Las Tunas province, Guillermo Castillo. Ortodecimarte… includes the participation of 33 boys and girls of the tenth verse improvisation across our nation.

The protagonists of this valuable volume will be present at Salón de Mayo.
