Paradiso, Artex’s cultural tourism agency, invites you to participate in the 21st Fiesta of Cuban Identity to take place in Bayamo City, Granma, on October 17 - 20 and the 21st Fiesta of Iberian American Culture, with the city of parks, Holguin, as the venue on October 24 - 30.
The Fiesta of Cuban Identity, annually organized by the House of Cuban Nationality and sponsored by the Culture Provincial Division of Granma, is a great opportunity to get to know the roots of the Cuban nation. Some of the themes are: Bonds between Cuban and Latin American Social Thinking. Ideas, Developments and Outstanding Figures and Latin America, Nationalities and Nations in a New Era.
On October 17 – 20, Bayamo will be hosting theoretical events, crafts fairs, exhibits of fine arts, music, literature, movies, theater, dance and representatives of traditional cuisine; important cultural expressions distributed throughout the city where Cuba’s national anthem was first heard.
On the other hand, the Fiesta of Iberian American Culture is an event that recues and fosters the Hispanic roots and origins of the Cuban nation.
Streets and parks in Holguin will become stages for a comprehensive program that includes concerts, exhibits, workshops and popular fiestas, with the presence of acclaimed soloists, creators, national bands and guests from Iberian America.
The themes for this edition are: Cuban Thinking, Regional Cultures, Environment and Sustainable Development, Generic Approach, Promotion and Cultural Policy.
