EXCELENCIAS Group to Hold New Edition of EXCELENCIAS AWARDS at FITUR 2016

The EXCELENCIAS AWARDS were founded in 2005 by “Grupo Excelencias” communication group in a bid to foster excellence in different fields, all of them related to travel and culture. Since then, they have turned out to be a benchmark for those involved in this major industry, people and entities that develop their daily activities with the purpose of achieving the goal of being excellent.

Over the past three years and in addition to the EXCELENCIAS TURISTICAS AWARDS, we have granted the EXCELENCIAS GOURMET AWARDS and the “Silvia Zorzanello in Memoriam Award”, as a tribute to the lifetime achievements of Silvia Zorzanello in Brazil. This edition will also witness for the second time the “Ramon Alvarez Award”, thus showing respect for his achievements and contributions to the travel industry. This award will be given to an institution or person committed to the MICE sector.

NOMINATIONS

EXCELENCIAS TURISTICAS AWARDS: Tourism projects or companies can answer to this call, as long as they had stood out with significant actions, ideas or creative plans that make a difference in the sector throughout 2015.

EXCELENCIAS GOURMET AWARDS: For countries, cities, states, towns, companies or people linked to the gastronomic sector, which have developed projects, premises, ideas, events or any other project with remarkable impact on the gastronomic or gastronomic tourism sectors in 2015.

Nominations shall be sent to our jury, which is made up of outstanding members of the gastronomic and travel industries. They will be in charge of choosing the winners, whose names are going to be announced in December.

The nomination format is to include:

- SUBJECT: NOMINATION FOR EXCELENCIAS TURÍSTICAS OR EXCELENCIAS GOURMET AWARDS (as it corresponds).
- NAME OF THE COMPANY AND/OR PERSON.
- NAME OF THE PROJECT ENTRY.
- EXPLANATION ON THE PROPOSAL: UP TO TWO PARAGRAPHS (information dossier can be attached).
