ONE PROJECT AM16, AT THE VERY EDGE OF WHAT IS (I)LEGIBLY

These eight 'solo show' projects present work of national and international artists born in the seventies and eighties and proposes photography, painting, sculpture, graphics and video art works, talking about the reality as an hybrid model with a disjointed narrativity.

- Hugo Alonso (Soria, 1981), Espacio Nuca (Salamanca)

- Alejandro Botubol (Cádiz, 1979), Espacio Valverde (Madrid)

- Sandra Senn (Baden / Switzerland, 1973), Galerie Voss (Duesseldorf, Germany)

- Gonzalo Rueda (Barcelona, ??1972), Mojácar Factory Art (Mojácar)

- Muriel Moreau (Paris, 1975), Ogami Press (Madrid)

- Sergio Mora (Barcelona, ??1975), Plom Gallery (Barcelona)

- Iago Eireos (Lugo, 1980), Sincresis (Empoli, Florence, Italy)

The curator, Carlos Delgado Mayordomo, has gathered the work of these eight artists that depart from figuration to create different images located on the edge of an imprecise (i)readability. "The crossroad with the imagination, the incorporation of the density of mass culture, the hybridization and contamination of iconography and the movements to the abstracts are some strategies from which the selected artists propose two separate modes of negotiation with reality ", explains the curator. The proposals are ultimately very deep conceptual investigations of high value, able to live with more than an hypothesis or directly causing a subversion of the senses.
