Havana.- The International Circus Festival in Cuba (Circuba), the third oldest of its kind in the world, will celebrate in 2016 its 35 anniversary, said organizers recently. Following the festivals of Monte-Carlo (1974) and Circus for Tomorrow (1977), the worldwide renowned festival Circuba (1981) will be held here from July 12th to 17th, with the participation of foreign and local artists, businesspeople, journalists, photographers and lovers of the circus.
The jury will award a Grand Prix, three first prizes and others awards, taking into account reviews and the image, while the audience will assess the performance of the artists and award the prize of popularity.
Until April 1 the call for participating in the 15th festival will be open at the venue of the event, the Trompoloco big top, in Havana.
