Antoni Pinyol Gallery celebrates its 25th anniversary. Since its inception, it has annually celebrated the Telax contemporary art prize, and now the 25 awards that have been given in the history of the gallery will be shown together in a special exhi-bition for the occasion.
Since 1993, when Jordi Abelló was the first winner, there have been artists from many different trends and disciplines, and we have seen how art has evolved during these years. In the exhibition we will find painters such as Ramón Vilella, Enrique Madorrán, Lluís Barba, José Carlos Balanza, Enric Giralt, Salvador Ruiz, Miren González, Meritxell Ribé, Ismael Iglesias, Paloma Belenguer, Ion Etxeberria, Alex Pascual, Laia Bedós , Pepa Satué, etc .; But we also find artists who work in sculpture, such as Neus Colet, Nuria Fernandez, Santiago Fuchs, Lidia Pérez or Zaloa Ipiña, as well as the photography of César Azcárate, David Mayo and Vanessa Pey.
This exhibition aims to take a retrospective look at all these years, in order to have a vision for the future of the Telax Prize and contemporary art.
