#SomosKanva: Art Madrid and Liquitex join in a charity project

Art Madrid and Liquitex join forces in the solidarity project #SomosKanva, with which they intend to improve the vital and educational conditions of hundreds of children in rural areas of India, in a situation of poverty or abandonment.

The project, organized by [Kanva] (international aid network through artistic creation), also has the support of non-profit organizations Shanga India and Un Plato de Comida, who have been feeding and educating children for years. humble families from that country, especially from the Orisa area.

In this way, the leader in the market of acrylic paint, Liquitex, returns to collaborate with Art Madrid (event of which our magazine is media partner), proposing a solidarity challenge to artists who, between February 4 and March 10, must donate a work, making it public on social networks with the hashtags #Somoskanva and #Liquitex.

Later, a team of specialists of the Fair will be responsible for carrying out a selection process (11-17 March) of the participating works, choosing fifteen pieces for an online exhibition at Art Madrid Market (March 18-April 18), whose profits will be donated in full to Un Plato de Comida. In addition, Liquitex will select one of these fifteen works and will reward its author with 500 euros in material.

Liquitex has been offering innovations in the field of acrylic paint since 1955. It was the creator of the first water-based acrylic paint and, at present, offers a range of intense and vibrant acrylic paints in different formats.

The 14th edition of the Contemporary Art Fair Art Madrid'19 will be held between February 27 and March 3, in the Crystal Gallery of CentroCentro Cibeles, with the presence of more than forty galleries, from fourteen countries in Europe, America, Asia and Africa.
