The Servando Gallery in Zona Maco

The International Art Fair Zona Maco Mexico is currently recognized as the most important fair in Latin America, which manages to convene international galleries of the highest level.

The 2020 edition, next to be held in February, is called "Open Relationships" and it is proposed to broaden the idea of rethinking the dynamics established in the art system towards a reconsideration of the traditional mechanisms and structures of our day, defining our way of act and think.

The Servando Gallery has managed to occupy a notable space in this fair. Particularly, the year 2018 was very important for the gallery, as Osvaldo González, one of the artists exhibited at the stand, won the Best Emerging Artist Award (under 40 years old).

Other achievements have been the feasibility of the exhibition projects presented, including sales of works by the exhibited artists, the high level of visibility and reception, the numerous contacts that were generated and the inclusion of works by artists in prestigious collections.

By 2020 the gallery proposes to participate in the Forum Section, with the work of three artists: Osvaldo González, Adrián Fernández and Ángel R. Ricardo Ríos. The first two repeat on the Mexican stage. Forum is a new section of Zona Maco developed and curated by Anna Goetz. It is defined by an open structure, with the aim of presenting different voices in dialogue and fostering new forms of collaboration between the galleries to present to their artists, based on thematic or formal connections, and also to allow more ambitious exhibitions.
