5th edition of Art Élysées

A new edition of Art Élysées will be held at Champs Élysées, Paris, during the week dedicated to modern and contemporary art (October, 20 – 24).

Sixty galleries have been already handpicked by an artistic committee, which is headed by Baudoin Lebon. Among them: Galerie Berthet-Aittouarès (Paris), Galerie Brimaud (Paris), Baudoin Lebon (Paris), Galerie Jean-François Cazeau (Paris), Galerie Kandler(Toulouse), Galerie Messine (Paris), Galerie des Modernes (Paris), Galerie Lélia Mordoch (Paris), Galerie Aroya-Traits noirs (Zaragoza, Spain), Galerie Protée (Paris), Galerie Lucien Schweitzer (Luxemburg), Galerie Patrice Trigano (Paris), Galerie Sabine Vazieux (Paris), Galerie Vintage (Paris) and Galerie Les Yeux Fertiles (Paris), among others.

In 2010, Art Élysées satisfied the most demanding expectations, by showing a swift growth in terms of the quality and reputation of the exhibition among galleries, collectors and the general public, as well as sales increase. It welcomed more than thirty eight thousand visitors during that edition.

For this fifth edition, the Fair makes emphasis –its distinctive mark– on modern art and “classic” contemporary art, though it maintains ties with galleries that promote novel representations of visual creation. The event continues working to have a more active presence in the market of art, by simultaneously developing its cultural dimension through the integration of new exhibitions and institutions. This time, Maillol Museum is the guest of honor and attends this event “giving glimpses” of its upcoming exhibitions: Pompei- A lifestyle art and Remains of the Day (introducing Israeli painter Ra´anan Levy).

Art Élysées has also provided a space for cultural editorials and publications from all over the world. Our Arte por Excelencias magazine will be there.
