GO on Google Earth

Quite recently A X E News interviewed Jose Ruiz, an artist from Canary Islands attending the 11th Havana Biennial with the Behind the Wall project. His work entitled GO is a 50-square-meter canvas that was designed to be spotted from Google Earth’s bird’s-eye view as a reference, on the one hand, to the difficulty –better yet impossibility- to have access from Cuba to the app’s complete package; and on the other hand, to easily access to the island nation from other parts of the world just to tour its cities.

Eventually, GO is visible from the satellite. Click here to watch the images uploaded from Panoramio, a Google Earth-associated service in which users can post shots hyperlinked to one spot on the planet.
