Eleven young artists have joined Guibert Rosales and Arlene Ladaga’s curatorial project, inaugurated last friday at Collage Habana.
Escucha el silencio explores, from different referents and ways to do, the projection of new artist generations who “beyond questioning or alienating a critical present, express the need to rethink the current circumstances, as a viable resource to materialized a future solution. Therefore, their search comes out the most sincere motivation to conceive artworks that express the existence of awareness in terms of present time, art and life as such”.
Wilber Aguilera, Raul C. Camacho (Memo), Lorente-Castro-Lorente, Rigoberto Diaz, Edgar Hechavarria, Lazaro Navarrete, Osmeivy Ortega, Harold Perez, Jorge R10, Rafael Villares and Guibert Rosales make up the exhibition list, to be open to the public through August.
