Sixteen Cuban in Berlin

Curated by Suzzete Rodriguez, exhibition RGB, made up of 32 paintings created by 16 artists, is open for German viewers at Berliner THE BROWSE GALLERY.

 

Alejandro Gomez Cangas, Aluan Arguelles, Gabriel Sanchez Toledo , Jesus Nodarse, Jurgen Rodriguez, Maykel Linares, Michel Chailloux, Miguel A. Couret, Niels Reyes, Yuri Santana, William Hernandez, Vicente Hernandez, Leticia Sanchez, Barbaro M. (Pango), Ignacio Merida and Pedro de Oraa; representatives from several generations of creators from the island, were invited by German photographer Johannes Barthelmes to showcase their works within the framework of the Day of Cuban National Culture, sponsored by the National Council of Fine Arts of Cuba and that country’s embassy in Germany.

 

RGB suggests reflections on proposals that tackle present matter of the insular sphere, and represent a part of the testimony of an age.

 

Projects of THE BROWSE GALLERY are organized by Sabine Drwenzki and John Colton.
