XX Latin-American Culture Festival in Holguin

Organized by the Latin- American House of Holguin, the twentieth edition of the Festival of Latin- American Culture will be held from October 24^th to October 30^th.

The ecological and cultural sustainability will be the main theme of this edition, dedicated to the Amazon. Around 250 delegates from twenty countries have already confirmed their attendance. In the context of the event the IX Latin- American Congress of Thought (from October 25^th  to October 27^th  at the Hotel Pernik) will take place.

With the cooperation of the AECID, the Spanish Anxela Iglesias, leading specialist in ecology and gender will participate. She will give lectures on ecology, gender and cultural sustainability.

Like in some other opportunities during the event the delivery of the National Research Award Jose Manuel Guarch Delmonte 2014 will take place, award  granted by the Latin- American House in collaboration with the Cultural Office of the Embassy of Spain, AECID-CUBA
