Cuban artisans will exhibit their works in Florida

The Cuban goldsmith group Pauyet will exhibit for the first time its work in the United States when participating in XI edition of the Art Fest at Doral important festival in the city of Doral, Florida.

 

 

The event, which will be held from November 7th to November 9th the artists will show a collection of small horses.

 

 

Pauyet, is a cultural project in the province of Ciego de Avila, who works from craft spoons, forks and other silver objects and turns them into works of art. The group, through creativity and talent, manages sculptures that can represent real or fantastic creatures and figurative or abstract forms.

 

 

Integrated ??by talented Ciego de Avila artists Pauyet, is the creator of the statue representing the Ibis White or Ibis Forest, aquatic bird of snowy plumage, which abounds in the islands north of Ciego de Avila, mainly in Cayo Coco. This piece became the trophy given annually by the Ministry of Tourism to the best local and national institutions and foreign tour operators who promote travel destination Jardines King.

 

 

They are also the authors of design of the awards given each year to the winners of the International Fishing Tournament Jardines del Rey Big Game Trolling.

 

 

The group was founded in 1998 and their sculptures toured galleries from various countries like Argentina, Italy, Spain, Brazil, Portugal, Canada and Russia.

 

 

Pauyet means power, its image is reflected in a hand with a scepter that enhances the strength of the Orishas in the Caribbean region.
