Jesús Jáuregui: Caras vemos exhibition

For the first time, we will present in this gallery the work of artist Jesús Jauregui (Bilbao, 1957), Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1977 and trained in the environment of Jorge Oteiza and Néstor Basterretxea, for over fifteen years.

 

With Basterretxea works, he collaborates in a documentary series for the ETB2 television network about the cultures of the pre-Columbian Latin America, as well as the building of the monument to the Reno’s Basque Shepherd, in Nevada.

 

Jesús Jáuregui has been working for more than 30 years and dedicated to plastic arts, specifically, urban sculpture, large format oil painting, engraving, lithography. In addition, he has collaborated with different sceneries in small experimental theaters, and given lectures on creativity.
