Friends of Habanos Festival will gather once again in Cuba

Members of the Club Friends of Habanos will meet in Cuba to exchange experiences with experienced producers on Havana, which is considered by the critics as the best tobacco of the word.

Zoe Nocedo Primo, director of this cultural project of the Havana Historian Office, told the National Information Agency AIN that this activity is linked to the 12 edition of the Habano International Festival to be held in Havana from February 23 to 27.

It will be a good opportunity to appreciate the work carried out by the farmers in tobacco meadows, as well as their traditions and efforts to keep the prestige of this exportable area of the Cuban economy.

Zoe Nocedo Primo, who is also the Tobacco Museum director explained that in previous edition, the participants learned the work the women carry out making cigars in factories, and in vital tasks such as twisting and quality control.

This unique space for regular meetings, not only brings together visual artists, writers, researchers, diplomatic and sommeliers, but also tobacco twisters, tobacco readers and fond of Habanos.

During the next edition of the Habano Festival, they will launch to the market the new cigar bands of Romeo y Julieta and Montecristo, two of the most prestigious and tradition brands in the Gourmet world.

Each year, Habanos SA, is responsible for the marketing of these cigars throughout the five continents. It promotes new value-added products highlighting the qualities of the Cuban tobacco.
