After December 17, the cultural exchanges between Cuba and the United States are increasing in both countries.  Music, as an artistic expression of unquestionable quality in both nations, is protagonist and part of this.

Regarding this, Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, D.C. will offer a special unique concert next July 13 at Cuba’s Jose Marti National Library at 11 am, free entry.

The performance has been coordinated by YFU, the Interplanner Agency with general license and People to People category, one of the most respected and large international organizations of educational exchange.

Composed of a network of over more than 50 independent organizations from around the world, the representatives of YFU work together to promote learning through cultures and facilitate cooperation and harmony.

In the case of Cuba, the YFU has a special historic connection, because during Elian Gonzalez’s conflict, he lived in its headquarters before returning to his homeland.
