Europe at the rhythm of Habana D´ Primera Cuban orchestra

Popular Cuban orchestra Habana D´ Primera is presently on a tour through Europe with a program of some thirty concerts in important events and performances in several cities of the so-called “Old Continent”.

 

The musical band, founded and directed by trumpet player and singer Alexander Abreu, started the tour on October 13 in Madrid, Spain, with a presentation in Pamplona on the following day and in Paris on the 15.  

 

 

Their letter of introduction is now the awarded album La Vuelta al Mundo, winner of the 2015 Cubadisco Great Prize, which they will present in the United Kingdom, Sweden, Italy, Germany, Poland, Austria, Serbia and the Netherlands, where they will close the tour on November 14 with a presentation at the already famous Latin Dance Night.

 

As part of the program the group’s presence has been confirmed in the posters of the Festival de Jazz de Barcelona, on October 30 and at the Festival Internacional Cubano,in Orange, France, the following day.

 

They will also perform at the Warsaw Sol Festival, in the Polish capital on November 6 and at the Habana-Belgrado Festival, on November 7.   

 

From its creation in 2008, Habana D´ Primera has established in the preference of the Cuban popular dancing music fans in the whole world. With only three discographic productions: Haciendo historia, Pasaporte and La Vuelta al mundo, the musical band has deserved several prizes and recognitions that back the quality of their musical proposal.
