PARTE, the first and only Brazilian art fair focusing exclusively on contemporary art, presents its 2015 Paço das Artes edition

PARTE celebrates its fifth anniversary with two editions in 2015. The first one, PARTE Cidade Jardim, took place in June at the Shopping Cidade Jardim. The second is the already traditional PARTE Paço das Artes November edition at the Paço das Artes, USP São Paulo. This year’s event is expected to attract over 12,000 visitors.

 


The selection committee for this edition is formed by 5 members from the art world with different points of view that bring diversity with quality to PARTE: Aloiso Cravo, Heitor Reis, Raphael Fonseca, Regina Pinho and Rejane Cintrão. The committee selected 40  galleries from all over Brazil, Argentina, Colombia and the USA focusing on up and coming artists and the most interesting art being produced these days.

 


The galleries participating in PARTE Paço das Artes 2015 are: from Buenos Aires: Gachi Prieto Gallery, Galería Beatrix Roads, Galería Pasto, Pabellón4 Arte Contemporáneo, Quadro Arte Contemporáneo and Ungloborojo. From Bogotá: SGR Galería and IK Projects, and from Miami: ArtNexus Editions. From Brazil we have: São Paulo:  55SP Galeria, Almavera Escritório de Arte, Arte Hall, Arte Infinita Galeria, Casa das Artes – Galeria, DConcept Escritório de Arte, Fauna Galeria, Fólio, Fotospot, Galeria Contempo, Galeria Lume, Galeria Nuvem, Galeria Porão, Galeria Tato, Gris Escritório de Arte, Jackie Shor – Arte, JB Goldenberg – Escritório de Arte, Luis Maluf Art Gallery, Mira Arte, O Grito Gallery, Papel Assinado, Paralelo, Room 8; from Brasilia: Gabinete de Arte K2O; from Belo Horizonte: Galeria Murilo Castro and Orlando Lemos Galeria; from Curitiba: Ybakatu Espaço de Arte; from Florianópolis: Myrine Vlavianos Arte Contemporânea; from Salvador: RV Cultura e Arte; from São Bernardo do Campo: OMA Galeria and from Vitória: Via Thorey Galeria.

 


PARTE also presents noteworthy special projects. The Site Specific by Caligrapixo with the “Emaranhado Pixografico” work; Flora Assumpção’s “Natureza da Natureza” and the “SOLO” project created by Rejane Cantoni and Leonardo Crescenti.

 


As a means to continuously  support young talent, PARTE welcomes the participation of independent groups of artists. The Aluga-se Group witll be exhibiting the “Pedala-se” project and JAMAC (Jardim Miriam Arte Clube) brings to PARTE the works of  artists from a local community promoting  education through art, coordinated by the artist Monica Nador.

 


In the publications section, we will have a booth dedicated to independent publications showcasing various artists’ books coordinated by Lila Botter.

 


The cultural program remains strong this year, presenting new topics with lecturers from Brazil and abroad, creative workshops for adults and children and book launches.  See the complete program on our website: www.feiraparte.com.br
