Cuban Art Reaches Belgium

Brussels.- The Cuban art reached Belgium with an exhibition in which 16 females of the island joined their talents to honor the 2016 International Women's Day, diplomatic sources said yesterday. The exhibition Hints from Cuba: Feminine Proposals will be shown at the European Parliament from March 1 to 3; at the headquarters of Unesco in Paris from March 15 to 18, and at the Cohiba Atmosphere Antwerp from March 20 to 24.

The project is a joint effort of the Cuban Embassy in Belgium and the Group of Friendship with the People of Cuba of the European Parliament, according to a note released by the embassy.

The project has the support of the permanent delegation of Cuba to Unesco, entities such as the National Council of Plastic Arts of Cuba, friends of island and Cubans living in Belgium.
