Chinese Philarmonic Orchestra will Give Two Concerts in Cuba

Havana.- The Chinese Philarmonic Orchestra will perform two concerts in Cuba next December 15-16 at the National Theater, announced the cultural institution.

 


The Asian orchestra is considered one of the 10 best in the world and its director, Yu Long, one of the most distinguished batons in the international stage.

 

During the concerts in this capital, the musical group wil share the stage wiuth the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba and pianist Isabel Mesa, as guests, under the direction of maestro Enrique Perez Mesa.

 

British magazine Gramophone mentioned the Asian group as being part of the 10 orchestras with greater world projection, together with the Berlin Philarmonick, the London Symphony Orchestra and the New York Philarmonic, among others.
