Andrew Tshabangu and Kimathi Donkor Featuring in International Exhibitions

Andrew Tshabangu’s work will be featured in the exhibition CAPE OF GOOD HOPE HERE WE COME as part of the AFRIQUES CAPITALES exposition in France.

Lille and the Gare Saint Sauveur inspired Simon Njami to undertake this exhibition and voyage. From April 6 to September 3rd, lille3000 presents thirty contemporary artists from fifteen African countries, from the Maghreb to South Africa, who will showcase a young and creative continent that is completely reinventing itself. The exhibition invites visitors to embark on a journey, whether spiritual, poetic, political, artistic, real or committed.

Kimathi Donkor’s work will be featured in the Diaspora Pavilion opening with the 2017 Venice Biennale.

The Diaspora Pavilion is an exhibition showcasing nineteen UK based artists whose practice expand, complicate and destabilise our understanding of diaspora, while highlighting the continued relevance that diaspora as a lived reality holds today.
