The magazine Arte por Excelencias number 49 was presented at noon on Wednesday February 19 at the Ventana Sur Cultural Center, in the presence of writers, cultural promoters and artists of the capital of the Cuban nationality.
The editor and journalist Alexis Triana thanked those present for their loyalty to the publication, just arrived from the important circuit of international contemporary art fairs such as Art Basel, in the United States and Zona Maco in Mexico; meanwhile he accompanied the 41st Festival of the New Latin American Cinema and the 35th International Jazz Plaza Festival in Cuba.
Triana recognized the collaborators of Arte por Excelencias in fifteen countries of the Americas and the Caribbean for sustaining the contents of the publication and assured that it is essential for the Arte por Excelencias project to continue endorsing the promotion of regional events such as the Cubanía Festival in Granma, the Romerías de Mayo as the International Festival of Artistic Youths in Holguín or the next Cervantino Festival in Mexico, dedicated to Cuba as a guest country.
The occasion was conducive for the Bayamés researcher and communicator Ramón Cuza to also present the Gastronomic Opinion and News Bulletin El Amgibú Bayamés, which with the support of the culture and tourism sectors has come to light in January of this year and is the only one of its kind in the country.
In the same way, the writer and communicator Edgardo Hinginio thanked the presence of the culture of the Granma province in the pages of Arte por Excelencias; and how Bayamo journalists, painters and communicators have had a leading role in the dossiers and folding of the publication.
