Cuba´s Contest Invites to Make Fusion of Cuban and UK Music

Havana.- A national contest for young Disc Jockeys calls on participants to mix the current underground music of the United Kingdom with Cuban elements of any genre and time.
 
With the support of the British Council in Cuba, Radio Taino radio station called the second edition of the Djs' Music Contest, which will admit works until August 20.

According to a joint statement, the creators can compete with several works in mp3 format of up to 10 minutes, to be delivered at the headquarters of Radio Taino, located at the Cuban Institute of Radio and Television, in this capital.

The winning disc jockey will participate in a concert at the popular "Arte en La Rampa Fair" by the end of summer 2018, which will be recorded and broadcast on The Selector - Tonight program by Radio Taino.

For its international diffusion, the winning work will be sent to the headquarters of The Selector in London.

Other works in the contest will be broadcast in the section The Cure of the Week, from the Tonight program on Radio Taino, the station confirmed.
