The Company of Recordings and Musical Editions of Cuba, EGREM, has launched a campaign in support of people who suffered damages as a result of the tornado that hit Havana on the night of Sunday, January 27.
As it has been known through social networks, this Cuban company belonging to the Ministry of Culture of the Island, is summoning the artists of its prestigious catalog to join in a collection. The aid, which can be either food or objects or money can be delivered at the central office of this institution located on 3rd street. between 10 and 12 in Miramar. The reception of donations can be made until the 1st. February
Many are the artists who, in response to the call, have responded by demonstrating the solidarity that characterizes Cubans and proposing ways for it to be effective from the outside.
For its part, the National Council of the Plastic Arts, has also joined the initiative of visual artists who have mobilized to collect donations and organize actions in support of their fellow citizens.
