Eva Jospin presents Re-selvagem — Invented Nature in São Paulo

French artist Eva Jospin, recognized for transforming materials such as cardboard into monumental landscapes, will present the exhibition “Re-selvagem — Invented Nature” at Casa Bradesco — Cidade Matarazzo in São Paulo, from September 1 to December 7, 2025.

The exhibition brings together sculptures made from corrugated cardboard, an industrial material derived from forest cellulose. Through a process of cutting and layering, Jospin constructs trunks, roots, and branches, creating a dense and labyrinthine forest-like installation. As the artist states: “The forest is like the subconscious, the synapses of the brain. It is rich in mythology and narratives from different cultures. It is an inexhaustible theme.”

Each work demonstrates the transformation of an everyday material into landscapes that evoke both memory and the relationship between nature and imagination.
