MEXICO MADRID Inaugurates Fernando Andriacci’s Exhibition

Mexico Madrid space has recently opened its doors with the promise of becoming a benchmark site for Mexican art and culture in the Spanish capital. Fernando Andriacci’s exhibition is to be displayed on Thursday, December 1st, within their exhibition cycle.

The artist, born in Cuicatlan, Oaxaca, studied drawing, painting, engraving and art history at RufinoTamayo’s Workshop, an acclaimed Oaxacan painter. With his work Andriacci looks forward to capturing, among other things, beautiful memories from his childhood, through subconscious games. So he creates artworks with pretty-well marked backgrounds, great dynamism and live colors.

Andriacci dares to blur shapes, printing movement to the figures, entering –with no intention– into the boundaries of abstraction.

The exhibition, opened to viewers through January 14, 2012, is made up of oil paintings and gouaches where the leading role is played by colors.
