Vuitton - Jacobs in Paris

The French capital’s Museum of Decorative Arts is harboring the Louis Vuitton – Mar Jacobs exhibit from March 9 thru Sept. 16, 2012.

Curated by Pamela Golbin, this exhibition is bent on displaying the history of these two men and their magnificent contributions to the world of fashion. From completely different moments, both artists managed to combine tradition and innovation, craftsmanship and creativity by means of a common language.

Laid out in two stories –each one dedicated to a character- the exhibit extols the most representative works of both creators under a scenography set up by Samantha Gainsbury and Joseph Bennett.
