Saturday June 9, at 20:00 hours, at Galería Sicart, will see the inauguration of an exhibition that brings together the last three projects of Gisela Ràfols (Vilafranca del Penedès, Barcelona, 1984): Alter Ego (Mallorca 2011), Within (Beijing 2011) and The dance of the flight (Beijing 2012).
The three series indicate a change in the poetry of the photographer, who moved from dark atmospheres to natural backgrounds, where female anatomy actually plays the leading role. Alter Ego reflects on the conflict with ourselves, while Within and The dance of the flight take the aesthetic search announced in the previous series to a higher level.
The exhibition is going to be opened through July 13, 2012.
