The Ministry of Culture, Grupo Nueva Arquitectura Inc. (GNA), the Society of Architects of Dominican Republic(SARD) and the Museum of Modern Art (MAM) have called the 11th International Architecture Biennial in Santo Domingo, to be inaugurated on the Day of Dominican Architecture, Saturday November 3, at the Museum of Modern Art.
The event, which includes a contest as well as the assembly and presentation of an Exhibition of Projects and Works of Architecture and Urbanism, Indoor Architecture, Landscape, Restoration, Theory, Review and/or History and topics related to these matters, is going to be open for viewers through January 27.
The Biennial is dedicated to Spain and includes a comprehensive academic program to be joined by all local universities and institutions, as well as specialized magazines that consolidate their presence after several years of spreading the word on Dominican and international architecture and urbanism.
