New exhibition by Cesar Ordoñez in Atelier Gallery

"TOKYO BLUR" is the name of the new project in Japan by Barcelona artist. The fourth based in the city of Tokyo. And third solo exhibition in Barcelona.

In 2013, this project was awarded with a Scholarship of Recerca i Creacio by the Co NCA.

The exhibition consists of about fifty works in black and white, mostly nocturnal and often close to abstraction. They transport us to a mysterious, sensual city in Tokyo and as the title suggests, "unfocused".

As the author explains, the blur he mentions has a metaphorical intent.

Cesar Ordoñez is a photographer and video artist based in Barcelona, ??the city where he made his first exhibitions. For over fifteen years he combined his career as a fashion and advertising photographer, with the growth of his career. Since 2007 until today, he develops personal projects between Barcelona and Tokyo. In the Japanese capital highlights his extensive involvement in the project Tokyo-Ga (tokyo-ga.org). With an intimate, sensual and often introspective look, his work explores the relationships between humans and the spaces we inhabit. Exploring how our thoughts, feelings and attitudes influence our environment and the daily evolution of societies in which we live, and vice versa.

He has exhibited in Spain, Mexico, France, Russia, Japan, South Korea and China. His works are part of important art collections such as Auer Photo Foundation (Geneva, Switzerland), Fotocolectania Foundation (Barcelona, ??Spain) and Unicaja (Malaga, Spain) Foundation.
