Important Cuban artistic agency turns 55

The Artistic Shows Agency (Turarte) celebrates throughout this week 55 years of been created and the impact through various contracts, both in Cuba and abroad.

A statement from the Ministry of Tourism (Mintur) received on Friday, adds that the company (created in November 20^th ) is under its wing and has an extensive experience in tourism service and Cuban show musical.

To this end, the direction of Turarte and MINTUR organized for this weekend a great show in the Lázaro Peña Theater of this capital, in which will present a synthesis of all its work, very attractive for both Cubans and tourists in transit in this country.

The event is created for significant nightclubs of this archipelago as Continental, Tropicana and Parisién cabarets, and includes circus varieties, soloists and groups, as they are presented in many of its contracts abroad.

This company is the creator, producer and marketer of shows, presentations and proposes various formats with high quality and meaningful design.

Mintur clarifies that they feature in its catalog with 236 formats for demonstrations of music, dance and other artistic specialties, which include renowned figures as directors Tomás Morales, and Rafael Andrés Gutiérrez Hernández.

One of the interesting elements of the company is in the loyalty of its artists, many of whom have been in Turarte for 25-30 years with extensive experience in showing the Cuban culture in the world.

The statement reflects that many of their creations capture the attention of the public such as the Tropicana Cabaret, opened in 1939, the iconic Parisien Hotel Nacional de Cuba (1930) and the Continental nightclub in the resort of Varadero, some 140 kilometers east of Havana.
 

One of the most important examples of offshore company is in the Rain Forest Theatre of Hotel Crystal Marriot Resort in The Bahamas, with a resounding acceptance of tourists from around the world who visit the center.

The company, as the report concludes, was also recognized several times for the making of costumes for movies and plays, and the participation in international competitions in fashion or tourism.
