About the exhibition taking place at the Dominican Republic to France, the artist says:

I have selected a series of works for this exhibition that can be included within the title Huellas and that form two groups very different providing different treatments on the same theme.

From one part, we have a series of huellas (recalls) that have left in my memory as result of my frequent travels to Dominican Republic. A country which vegetation, light, and colors have determined my colors palette. These paintings are my modest tribute to Dominican Republic.

There is another series, huellas or marks created due to nature or by the human beings in the environment or our daily environment.

These pictures show an abstract appearance but they are totally realist sine they reproduce fragments coexisting with us, and we can see them in walls of monuments, walls of buildings or even being part of architectonic things that can provide us a different vision regarding to its conventional aspect, even showing a shocking ugliness but not lack of artistic attractive.

At least to me, some of these huellas are worth to be shown in canvas.

This group of works, which are created with technique combining photography, digital treatment and painting show my most recent work.
